Letter from Grandpa
In 1910 Ernest Rea arrived in Vancouver to start working for a man and company called Edward Chapman. After Mr. Chapman’s passing in 1938, Ernest took over majority control of the business and today, his grandson, John Rea, continues to operate as President and CEO of Edward Chapman Woman. Here you can read Ernest Rea’s letter home to his mother, describing his new home and job shortly after arriving in Vancouver.
